Education
The QHNCC is committed to promoting education and public awareness of head and neck cancer in Queensland, throughout Australia and Southeast Asia. This program consists of three sub programs.
- Educate doctors from Southeast Asia
- Health professionals are being trained at QHNCC in a range of otolaryngological techniques that will be transferable and sustainable in their own country.
- International doctors.

- Train and educate Health Professionals and Scientists from Queensland and Southeast Asia
- International and Australian Healthcare Professionals, involved in the care of patients with head and neck cancer, are being educated on recent advances in diagnosis and management of this disease.
- Medical (Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, ENT and Plastic Surgery and Palliative Care) and Allied Health professionals.
- International and Australian Healthcare Professionals, involved in the care of patients with head and neck cancer, are being educated on recent advances in diagnosis and management of this disease.
- Deliver a masters program, through the School of Medicine at UQ, to health professionals in the management of head and neck cancer
- QHNCC is facilitating students to become expert practitioners in the multi-disciplinary management of head and neck cancers.
